
About Dr. Swanson
Dr. Swanson graduated magna cum laude from Middlebury College with a bachelor’s degree in English Literature. She completed a postbacculaureate premedical program at Columbia University and received her medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College. She completed her adult psychiatry residency training at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center with additional reproductive psychiatry elective training at the Payne Whitney Women's Program. She continues to teach and supervise residents at Weill Cornell.

Dr. Swanson treats a spectrum of psychiatric and psychological concerns, focusing on individual challenges such as relationship difficulties, life transitions, personal fulfillment, and identity, in addition to addressing psychiatric issues such as anxiety and depression. While Dr. Swanson is able to assist patients with a wide range of conditions and symptoms, she has an expertise in women’s mental health and reproductive psychiatry.
She is licensed to treat individuals in Connecticut and New York.
